PMGO 2026 Season 2: Wolves Win in Lahore | Gaming With Talha
Wolves Esports won PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 2 in Lahore on October 25 via the Smash Rule, while Nepal's Horaa Esports finished 4th.
Short answer: The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2026 Global Finals start on November 6, 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, with 24 teams, the biggest field the event has had. Bangladesh sends two teams: Team Infinity, champions of FFWS Bangladesh 2026 Fall, and runners-up Pirate Esports. The Grand Final is on November 28 at BITEC LIVE.
Gaming With Talha grew up with Free Fire, and for many of the channel's viewers in Bangladesh it is still the mobile battle royale they play every day. With the world championship less than two weeks away and two Bangladeshi squads on the list, here is what is confirmed so far and what it means for fans in South Asia.
Garena set the plan back in January. In its 2026 esports roadmap (Garena, January 19, 2026), the publisher said the Global Finals would grow from 18 to 24 teams to bring in more regions, would be held in Bangkok and would kick off on November 6, running across four weekends in November. The roadmap also said the Free Fire champion of the Esports World Cup 2026 would get a direct spot.
That direct spot went to LYON from Mexico, who won the Esports World Cup Free Fire title in July. The other 23 places were decided through regional leagues, and the full list of 24 teams and the dates are now out (Sportskeeda). The schedule, as listed by Sportskeeda and the Liquipedia tournament page:
Both Bangladeshi teams came through the FFWS Bangladesh 2026 Fall league. Team Infinity won the Grand Finals on September 5, 2026, and Pirate Esports finished second (Sportskeeda; Liquipedia).
The Knockout Stage groups are set, and the two teams will not meet straight away (Sportskeeda, groups; Liquipedia):
That puts Pirate Esports in the same group as the Esports World Cup champions, while Team Infinity face teams from Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand, Africa and India.
For readers outside South Asia: Free Fire is one of the two giant mobile battle royale games in Bangladesh, next to PUBG Mobile, and the country has its own FFWS league. Two slots at a 24-team world final means Bangladeshi fans will have a team to cheer for in two different groups from day one.
Bangladesh has been getting a bigger place on Free Fire's global stage this year. Garena's roadmap gave the country two of the 24 places at the Free Fire event of the Esports World Cup 2026 as well. Results, broadcasts and any further announcements will come through Garena's official Free Fire esports channels.
Gaming With Talha has not covered FFWS 2026 in a video, but Free Fire is a big part of the channel's story. Free Fire videos on the channel include Goodbye Free Fire from December 2025 and Bum Simulator Part 1 from January 2026, which has passed 620,000 views. Today the channel plays PUBG Mobile, horror and party games and much more.
Viewers still ask about Free Fire during streams. On the October 15 Thursday Special Live (about 1:31), when the chat asked when he would return to it, Talha answered: "You are a gamer, and as a gamer you have the right to play every game." (translated from Bangla)
The channel has more than 3.5 million subscribers, and its biggest weekly moment is the Thursday Special Live, every Thursday at 8:00 PM BST (Bangladesh time, UTC+6). New here? Start with Who Is Gaming With Talha?
